Challenge Convention and Kick @$$. Think Differently - Wonderful Week

This week's Wonderful Week post will be rather short, partly because it is closely tied to several other posts in this series:
One of the reasons we often fail is that we stick to what has been done before and been found to work. Very few people are willing to try new methods, blaze new trails, cover new ground, seek new avenues of expression, change the status quo. . . we are afraid of challenging convention.

We instead hang on to the familiar and do the same ol' stuff. Not surprisingly, we always get the same results. We do not progress, we only get frustrated.

Apple Computer Inc became the global icon for great design and sleek computer products by taking a radically different approach to computing. Apple incorporated great design and introduced simplicity and user focus in computer hardware and software manufacturing. 'Think Different' was Apple Computer's advertising campaign that sought to differentiate Apple computers from the mundane experience that computing had become. Following is the complete text of the Think Different campaign.

THINK DIFFERENT
by Apple Computer Inc.

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square hole.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

This week, take a radically different approach to life. Get out there and challenge convention. Be different. Act on those new ideas you've been thinking about.
Have a Wonderful Week!
