The all New PeterNjenga.com website: Almost Done

THE END OF SOMETHING. THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING
January 2nd and I announced my blogging hiatus, which was to herald a new web site, new blogs and well, ..... a new approach to web design, graphic design and creative writing.

Following is a sneak-peek of the new PeterNjenga.com Homepage (click on the image to see the bigger picture).

THE BEST LAID PLANS
Nothing has changed really, except the launch date.
You see, things aren't always what they seem to be, and even the best laid plans have a way of eliciting last minute changes.

DESIGNS THAT COMMUNICATE
That said however, the new site should be up and running in February.
It is all predicated on the need to embrace emerging new web trends, standards based design and most important, designing to communicate across different platforms.

Therefore, stand by for the all new PeterNjenga.com.
The new site will embody my new approach to web design, graphic design and creative writing - designs that are user-centric, simple, engaging and elegant. Designs that delight the eye without distracting the mind. Designs that effectively communicate. Simply put, it is designing for the end user.

MY BLOGS
Also, you are cordially invited to join me in "Peter's Walkabout", my journey of Insight, Inspiration and Self Discovery. And if you adore green like I do, the "Green Kenya" blog is where we can all work towards a cleaner, longer, better life.

MY NOTES AND INSPIRATION
In the meantime, do not miss out on my inspired Notes. Or my company on Facebook.

See you then!

A Short Hiatus, then the Walkabout

First of all, it's HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 to all my readers, especially those who take the extra step of commenting, bookmarking or sharing blog posts with their friends. I owe it all to you guys, for you kept this blog growing in 2008 and inspired me to write more with your generous support.

It's been almost a month since my last post!
The short hiatus has been both deliberate and essential, as I took time to work on the future of this blog and my official web site - to better reflect continued growth in my Web design, Graphic design and Creative writing business.

The good news is that posting on this blog resumes around mid-January, just about the time when I shall launch the official PeterNjenga.com version 2.0.

With the new year, I purpose to embark on a Walkabout of Insight, Inspiration and Self Discovery.
PeterNjenga.com will showcase my passion for design, love for books and a desire to add value.
Best of all, the Green Kenya blog will be rejuvenated too.

Meanwhile, you can read what I have been up to and share your thoughts on my Facebook Notes, which you can even subscribe to.
Once again, my best wishes as we all set out to realize our goals in 2009.

Cheers folks!
